If you live outside of Oregon for part of the year, we strongly recommend that you establish care with a primary care provider nearby to handle urgent care needs and keep you healthy until you are back in Oregon. We do STRONGLY advise all patients to get vaccinated based on the best medical information. We do not require vaccination for patients to be seen in our practice. Vaccination is the most effective way to avoid serious illness and death from COVID, influenza, pneumonia, tetanus, diphtheria, and pertussis. Please use the provided hand sanitizer on arrival at Fall Creek. We will provide our patients with a properly fitting mask if one is needed or requested. We will have HEPA filters running to reduce the risk of asymptomatic carriers spreading airborne infection to others and will continue our other infection control measures to keep our practice safe. All patients and staff are welcome to wear a mask in the absence of symptoms if they choose, however masking is no longer mandatory if no symptoms of a viral illness are present and no recent close contact with a person who has a viral illness. If you have symptoms of a contagious illness, or a recent close exposure, you may be cared for via a telehealth virtual visit or if directed by your provider, we will ask you to wait in your vehicle until the medical assistant is ready to bring you directly to the exam room in order to protect other patients and staff. We require all patients who have signs or symptoms of a contagious illness, or who have had exposure to someone with a known contagious illness in the past 3 days, to wear a properly fitting mask covering both mouth and nose, AT ALL TIMES, INCLUDING WHILE WAITING IN THE EXAM ROOM FOR THE PROVIDER.
